Hamilton Center Community Center and Ice Arena

2501 Lincoln Park Dr. Columbus, In 47201

Hamilton Community Center & Ice Arena provides hockey classes and leagues for both our youth and adult participants. The rink works in close partnership with Columbus Youth Hockey (CYH).  Hamilton Community Center has also partnered with USA Hockey to be able to provide FREE programs such as Try Hockey for Free and equipment to our House League programs!

Hamilton Community Center & Ice Arena is a year-round facility with all the great things you would expect from a Columbus Parks and Recreation Department facility.

Hamilton Center was built in 1958 by the Hamilton Cosco Foundation and was donated to the Parks and Recreation Department.  This facility was designed by renowned architect Harry Weese and is one of the many buildings on the Columbus architectural tour.

In 1976, the arena was enclosed to accommodate year round programming development. In 2015, major renovations to update and restore some of Hamilton’s original components were completed. This project was completed as a result of public tax payer funds and a major private fundraiser campaign through the Friends of Hamilton, which raised $1.3 million in donations for a total renovation budget of approximately $2.8 million. As a result of this campaign and the renovations made to Hamilton, the arena flourished into a Community Center and became an even more treasured asset to the community

On behalf of the Columbus Youth Hockey Flames and the Icemen, Welcome to the Hamilton Center.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, we ask that all fans act responsibly and courteously to those around you. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome at all Columbus Youth Hockey events. Lets afford the student-athletes, coaches, officials and your fellow fans the respect they deserve. It may be intense, it may be emotional -- but it’s only a game.

Columbus Youth Hockey reminds you of these sportsmanship tips. When an official makes a call, accept it. When a member of the opposing team makes a great play, applaud it. When an opponent extends a hand after the game, shake it.

Your cooperation is appreciated. Please enjoy the game!
