Additional information

* Please note: The price listed in the Registration does not include the $200 commitment fee or the $50 tryout fee.  If any outstanding commitment fees remain, I will be collecting that money.  These must be paid prior to game play.  Please note that if your player will be paying with a scholarship, they will require a special registration process that requires a password but allows them to register without paying any money.  All players MUST register through the site this year.

Some things to note as you register:
1.  You will be required to enter your current USA Hockey number to proceed with the registration.
2.  Items to have handy for the registration are: Medical Insurance information, tetanus shot date, and doctors name and number.
3.  Choose Non-developmental player, unless your child is only doing developmental.  (Pricing will reflect that selection).

As mentioned above, scholarship resources are available to help offset a portion of the cost.  The first option is the Columbus Youth Hockey Bryan Ritz Memorial Scholarship fund administered by the Heritage fund.  The criteria for evaluating applicants goes beyond financial need.  Applicants must be willing to show their commitment to school and hockey by signing a code of conduct statement, providing their report card, providing a reference, and writing an essay.  Applicants who require funds for the travel program must all earn 25%-50% of their fees through CYH fundraising projects such as selling advertising to local businesses or other fundraising options that arise.

Applications are due on 10/18/18 for Travel & 10/31/19 for House League.  There are different applications for Travel and House leagues.

The link to application is: https://hfbcscholarships.communityforce.com.  A second scholarship option is a new AEI Youth Sports fund.  This application is open now – October 31st.  Grant awards will be announced in November.   Suggested grant amounts for individuals will range from $50-$2000.  Apply at this link: https://www.heritagefundbc.org/aei-youth-sports-fund/.
