Squirt Tryouts

To all interested birthyear ’00 and ’01 hockey players and parents:

Hello, my name is Andy Cesarski.  I will be the head coach of the Columbus Youth Hockey Squirt travel team this upcoming season.  Tryout dates for next season’s team have been scheduled and I wanted to get the word out as soon as possible to those interested.  This team will probably play in the A division of the Buckeye Travel Hockey league with a season consisting of approximately 30 games and a cost of approximately $1000 with specifics to be worked out as we get closer to the season.  Practices will start toward the end of Sept and we will be on-ice twice a week.  

Please make a note of it!  Tryouts will be Tues, June 22^nd 5:30-6:30pm and Thurs, June 24^th 5:45-6:45pm at the Hamilton Center Ice Rink. 

If you are looking for ice time prior to the tryouts, Hamilton Center is offering a $10 drop-in session once a week on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm starting in early June and running through the first week of August.

Please arrive at least half an hour prior to the start of tryouts so we can get kids registered and jerseys issued for the tryouts.  Cost for the tryouts is $50 and will be applied towards your travel fees should you make the team.  I will select ten players for the team after the two tryout sessions in June.  At a later tryout date toward the end of August, I will pick the remainder of the team.
