Coaches Notes
It is hard to believe the 2007/08 hockey season is approaching. I have had several people inquire about the upcoming season. In response to this we have arranged to have some "drop in" ice time to be available for Squirts wishing to skate.
The format will be 15 to 20 minutes of instruction followed by a scrimmage. The cost per session will be $10. Our first session will be held this Thursday from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. We currently have ice scheduled for every Thursday thru September 13th.
This is a tremendous opportunity to have some fun and brush up on your hockey skills.
The Squirt Travel Team will be participating in the Buckeye Travel Hockey League (BTHL) again this year. The BTHL has decided to require each team wishing to play in the BTHL to participate in a pre-season seeding tournament. The tournament will be held the weekend of September 15th and 16th. As a result of the BTHL decision, we will be conducting team tryouts in the very near future.
Please remember the "drop in" sessions are optional as I know many kids participate in other sports. Please let me know if you plan to attend any of the sessions.
